FC Le Communal Sport Le Locle was founded by three brothers: Bekim Fifaj (President), Ergin Fifaj (Secretary General), and Agim Fifaj (Vice-President).

The club won the Neuchâtel Cup (5th league) 2018/2019 final against FC Fleurier.

FC Le Communal Sport Le Locle won the 2018/2019 Fifth League championship. The team was promoted to the Fourth League for the following season.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the ASF cut the 2019/20 season short. FC Le Communal Sport Le Locle was in first place at the time, but no champion was declared, and there was no promotion or relegation.

The club won the 2020/2021 4th league championship, and was promoted to the 3rd league for the following season.

The committee decided to create a second team, FC Le Communal Sport Le Locle II, to play in the 5th League.
